Rain Barrel is in the process of incorporating as a benefit corporation, a designation that best enables us to connect congregations with funding and reflects our mission.
Daniel Palmer
FounderDaniel has spent the last 10 years working with community institutions, the public sector, and small and large businesses to support the energy transition and to address systemic barriers to financing and public services.
Before starting Rain Barrel, he managed public-private partnerships in the Bay Area and South Bend, Indiana, led the process to hire 400+ community health workers in under six months during the pandemic, and helped two climate-focused startups scale.
